Aquaponics

 What is Aquaponics?  

       An aquaculture system that uses the waste water from aquatic animals to provide nutrients to plants.

 

The use of fish waste to grow vegetables goes back centuries, but it has now become the "New" method of farming as more people seeking ways to get healthier food with little impact on the enviroment.

 

Aquaponic farming actually uses less water then conventional farming.  

 

 No pesticides or herbicides are used
